By placing an order with Oriental Shop, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. General ( General )

1.1 These general terms and conditions apply from 2020-01-01. Sales via orientalshop.se are made to private individuals, hereinafter jointly referred to as the "Customer". Goods purchased via teemji.se are provided by different legal entities depending on where the goods are to be delivered or collected. However, the Customer always pays with discharging effect to teemji.se, and teemji.se represents the affiliated legal entities in all respects relating to purchases made via teemji.se. The Customer's receipt states which legal entity sells goods to the Customer.

1.2 The terms applicable to the Customer's order via teemji.se are the version in force on the date of the order. It is the Customer's responsibility to keep up to date with any changes to these general terms and conditions.

1.3 Goods sold via teemji.se may not be resold or otherwise transferred to a third party without Oriental Shop's express written consent.

1.4 Oriental Shop undertakes to confirm all orders. This is done partly through a message on the website and partly by email to the email address provided by the Customer. Order confirmation does not mean that a purchase agreement has been concluded.

1.5 Oriental Shop reserves the right for any final sale of ordered goods on orientalshop.se. Only when the Customer receives delivery confirmation has a purchase agreement been concluded between Oriental Shop and the Customer.

2. Prices and fees ( Payment and Fees )

2.1 The prices for the ordered goods are the prices stated on orientalshop.se at the time of the Customer's order. All prices include VAT. Oriental Shop reserves the right for any typographical errors regarding price or other information on teemji.se

2.2 Shipping fee

For purchases of 888kr or more FREE SHIPPING!

599-887 kr + shipping fee 75kr

Under 598kr + shipping fee 125kr

These shipping fees apply nationwide.

3. Payment methods ( Payment method )

3.1 Payment can be made with either a bank card or debit card from Visa/MasterCard etc. The Customer can pay in the way specified on the website. When payment is made by debit card, the order amount is reserved when the Customer places the order. In some cases, it may take up to 7 banking days before the Customer's bank has registered the purchase on your account.

3.2 For security reasons, Oriental Shop does not accept payment in cash or by cheque.

3.3 Oriental Shop reserves the right not always to offer all payment methods and to change payment methods if the one chosen by the Customer does not work for any reason at the time of purchase or if the Customer is not approved for the selected payment method.

3.4 Oriental Shop has the right, in the event of a failed charge, to withhold delivery or refuse collection.

Oriental Shop's ambition is to i) notify the Customer of the planned delivery time via SMS on the morning of the delivery day, or the day before in the case of early-morning delivery, ii) if the estimated delivery time on the delivery day appears likely to deviate from the planned time window, Oriental Shop will contact the Customer via SMS or phone.

4.1 The Customer is responsible for keeping Oriental Shop updated with the Customer's details and thereby making it possible to deliver to the correct address. It is important that the Customer provides the correct phone number when placing the order. It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure that Oriental Shop can reach the address.

4.2 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Customer shall ensure that someone is present at the specified delivery address during the entire specified time window to receive the delivery. If no recipient is present, the delivery is returned to Oriental Shop, and Oriental Shop has the right to charge the Customer a fee of 150 kronor for redelivery.

4.3 If the Customer cannot receive the delivery after the specified time window, Oriental Shop will contact the Customer as soon as possible to agree on a new delivery time.

5. Product quality and right of withdrawal ( Product quality and right of withdrawal )

5.1 If there is a defect in any item or if an item is missing, the Customer must contact Oriental Shop customer service immediately. If an item is missing or damaged, the faulty item will be credited. Oriental Shop's liability is limited to the value of the item and any return shipping costs. Refunds will be made within 30 days. The refund will be made to the Customer via the payment method chosen by the Customer, provided that no other agreement has been made or that there are obstacles to such a refund.

5.2 In accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation, the Customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase agreement (exercise the Customer's right of withdrawal) within 14 days from the day the Customer receives the goods, or a substantial part of them. However, the right of withdrawal does not apply to the purchase of grocery items from Oriental Shop or in other situations where an express exemption exists under applicable consumer protection legislation. The right of withdrawal applies provided that the item is in substantially unchanged condition and that no seal has been broken.

5.3 If the Customer wishes to exercise the right of withdrawal, it is sufficient for the Customer to send a message to Oriental Shop (for example by email) stating that the Customer wishes to exercise the right of withdrawal, or to return the item before the deadline expires. Notice of exercising the right of withdrawal should be sent to:

4. Complaints ( Return & Exchange )

If the Customer is a consumer and, according to the provisions of the Consumer Sales Act (SFS 1990:932) ("KKL"), there is a defect in an item, the Customer has the right to make a complaint due to the defect. Complaints must be made as soon as possible after the defect is discovered to Oriental Shop's customer service, and the Customer must be able to provide the following information and documentation:

  • Item
  • Order date
  • Order number
  • Reason for complaint/the defect
  • Email address or phone number of the Customer
  • Receipt (upon request)

Oriental Shop's liability is in all cases limited to the value of the item as charged to the Customer, as well as the shipping fee or a proportionate part thereof.

The Customer has the right to refer disputes to the National Board for Consumer Disputes. Oriental Shop undertakes to follow the recommendations of the National Board for Consumer Disputes regarding matters referred there.

5. Applicable law and dispute ( Applicable law and dispute )

6.1 Disputes shall primarily be resolved by mutual agreement after discussion with Oriental Shop customer service. In the event of any dispute, Oriental Shop follows decisions from the National Board for Consumer Disputes.

6.2 Disputes concerning the interpretation or application of these Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with Swedish law and settled by the National Board for Consumer Disputes or, in the final instance, by a general court, with the Stockholm District Court as the court of first instance.
