The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

GDPR is the European Union's new General Data Protection Regulation, which replaced the Swedish Personal Data Act (PuL) on 25 May 2018. On this information page, you can read, among other things, what personal data we process, how we protect it, and what rights you have.

What is personal data?

1) Register extract. You have the right to request confirmation of whether or not we process personal data about you. If we do, you have the right to see what information we process about you through a register extract.

2) Rectification. If personal data is incorrect or incomplete, you have the right to request that it be corrected.

3) Withdraw consent. If we process your personal data based on consent as the legal basis for processing, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

4) Object to direct marketing. You have the right to object to the processing of personal data for direct marketing purposes. The easiest way to do this is to unsubscribe from mailings by clicking the unsubscribe link in the mailing or by contacting us.

5) Complain. If you believe that we are handling your personal data incorrectly, you can contact us (see below). You also have the right to submit a complaint directly to the supervisory authority, i.e. the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection.

6) Object to legitimate interest. You have the right to object to processing based on a legitimate interest if there are reasons in your specific case that argue against the processing. However, if you object to the processing but there are compelling legitimate grounds that outweigh your interests, we may continue the processing.

7) Erasure of personal data. You have the right to request, and under certain circumstances obtain, the deletion of your personal data. An exception applies if we have a legal basis for retaining the data.

8) Data portability. In certain cases, you have the right to receive a copy in a structured format of the information you have provided about yourself, for transfer to another data controller.
