Daisho Chanko Miso Hot Pot Soup is a classic Japanese hotpot base inspired by the nutrient-rich chanko nabe that is traditionally eaten by sumo wrestlers. This soup base combines rich miso, soy sauce, fermented spices, and kelp extract to create a deep umami flavor with a subtle spicy undertone from red chili. The prepared soup base makes it easy to cook an authentic Japanese hotpot at home.
Usage
Pour the mushroom soup base into a pot and heat it up. Add your choice of optional ingredients such as sliced meat, chicken, fish, tofu, mushrooms, napa cabbage, carrots, noodles and other vegetables. Let it simmer until all ingredients are fully cooked, then serve immediately.
