Maruman Honzukuri Shinshu Genen Miso is a traditional Japanese miso paste from the Shinshu region with reduced salt content and no added MSG. It is made from fermented soybeans and rice, giving it a rich umami flavor and a mild, balanced saltiness.
It is perfect for classic miso soup but also as a seasoning in ramen, marinades, stews, dressings, and various Japanese dishes.
Usage
Dissolve the miso paste in hot water to make miso soup or use it as a seasoning in ramen, noodle soups, stews, sauces, marinades, and stir-fries. Add the miso towards the end of cooking to preserve the best flavor.
