Chungjungone Sunchang Ssamjang is a seasoned Korean soybean paste made with chili peppers, garlic, onion, and roasted peanuts. It has a rich blend of salty, sweet, mild heat, and umami. Ssamjang is traditionally served alongside Korean grilled meat and lettuce wraps.
Usage
Serve as a dipping sauce for Korean BBQ, grilled meat, tofu, and fresh vegetables. Add a small amount to lettuce wraps alongside rice and grilled meat. It can also be used in marinades, stir-fries, soups, and stews.
