Teway Spice Mix for Spicy Grilled Fish is an authentic seasoning blend from Sichuan, created for the popular Chinese dish Mala Grilled Fish (麻辣烤鱼). The spice blend combines chili, fermented bean paste, Sichuan peppercorns and aromatic spices to create a rich umami flavor with intense heat and the characteristic tingling, numbing sensation that comes from Sichuan peppercorns.
Usage
Easily marinate your fish using the marinade pouch. Grill or pan-sear the fish until it develops a golden crust, then finish cooking it with the spice packet and any optional vegetables. This method also works great for shellfish, tofu, and other grilled dishes.
