Product Description
San Ta Sauce for Mapo Tofu is a classic Chinese spice sauce for the well-known Sichuan dish Mapo Tofu. The sauce combines chili peppers, fermented soybeans, Sichuan peppercorns, and garlic to deliver a rich, spicy, and slightly numbing flavor with authentic character. With this ready-made spice sauce, you can easily make traditional Mapo Tofu at home in just a few minutes.
Usage
Fry the tofu together with ground meat if desired, add the entire packet of sauce and a little water. Let it simmer for a few minutes and serve with freshly cooked rice. Also works as a flavor base for wok cooking and other Chinese dishes.
