Xinhe Doubanjiang is a classic Chinese fermented bean paste with a rich umami flavor and a mild spicy note. It is widely used in Chinese cuisine to add deep, layered flavor to stir-fries, stews, noodle dishes, and marinades. It pairs especially well with Sichuan dishes and other authentic Chinese recipes.
Usage
Use as a base for stir-fries, stews, soups, and noodle sauces, or as a marinade for meat and tofu. It works perfectly for Mapo Tofu, double-cooked pork, and other classic Chinese dishes.
